Jesse D. Obrand, Esq.

Jesse has substantial experience in real estate litigation and has successfully tried many cases to both judge and jury. Jesse also possesses a unique ability to resolve difficult disputes, and is well-respected by his peers. Jesse represents individual clients and small businesses, as well as large corporate real estate brokers in residential and commercial real estate and business related matters in Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Jesse currently represents Berkshire Hathaway Home Services California Properties and their real estate agents in various real estate related litigation throughout Southern California, and has previously represented other large brokers including Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Company in many other real estate related matters. Jesse is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of California.

Education | Jesse received his B.A. in History from the University of California at Irvine, and in 2002 was selected as a Big West Conference Scholar-Athlete for Men’s Basketball. After graduating from UC Irvine, Jesse moved to Monterey, California and attended the Monterey College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2009. At Monterey College of Law, Jesse was one of the top students in his class and was a Heisler Moot Court Finalist, where he zealously argued free speech rights on behalf of various broadcast stations in front of a distinguished panel of appellate court justices. As a result of Jesse’s advanced achievement in oral advocacy, he was inducted into the Heisler Society.

Michael F. Obrand, Esq.

Michael has substantial experience in general business, real estate, employment and criminal litigation. He has litigated hundreds of cases to a conclusion in trial courts in California and Colorado. In real estate cases, he has represented individual buyers and sellers as well as major real estate brokers such as Coldwell Banker and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, in cases of fraud, non‑disclosure, specific performance and breach of contract. He has also mediated numerous real estate and business cases. He is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of California and Colorado and to the United States Supreme Court.

Education | Michael received a Wheeler Scholarship to attend the University of California at Berkeley. He received his B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

He attended law school at the University of California Hastings College of the Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1973. At Hastings, Mr. Obrand was an editorial associate of the Hastings Law Journal and a member of the Thurston Honor Society.
